Quantity of purchase reqs created after CTM product substitution are modified. But modification of the quantities are not visibile in substitution order elements ie SNP:SubRcpt and SNP:ReqSub.
Scenario
======
Product PROD1 at location LOC1 has a demand for 5000 nos.
Product PROD2 at location LOC2 has a stock of 5000 nos. This is being
diverted as PROD1 to satisfy the demand. CTM product subtitution creates allocation results as below:
PROD2 at LOC2 - SNP:ReqSub for 5000 nos
PROD1 at LOC2 - SNP:SubRcpt for 5000 nos
PROD1 at LOC1 - Preq no xxxxxxxx
Now in R/3 ME53N transaction, we reduce the preq quantity to 2500 nos. Accordingly the changes are visibile at PROD1/LOC1 (APO), but the same is not seen for SNP:ReqSub and SNP:SubRcpt.
This means we are not able to reduce the stock quantity pegged to the SNP:ReqSub.
One solution is to delete the allocation totally and reduce the demand element and run the allocation again. But in the present scenario this is not possible, so is there any way we can manually change quantities in SNP:ReqSub and SNP:SubRcpt.
