I need to create an Info Record from an external system using an iDoc.Do you know how the idoc will update the system? via a standard program or transaction?

Answer:
The update will happen by whatever function module is assigned to the process code for your IDoc. Look there to see what functionality is used, often they are BAPIs but some very old IDocs still use BDC underneath.

Do you know if I can use i.e. INFREC01 to update/create info record in my system? or it is used just for outbound documents?
