if someone try to register a new customer in the system gets error message: area is missing
sold to is missing
business partner is missing....
(this is wat has happened...Prospects define the prozess and responsible for this. Today a new potential customer(not registered in the system)has called and we couldnt registere his requirement)
it sounds to b like a master data issue but nat sure...does any1 have anyidea as to what has to be done??

if someone tries to register a new customer from CIC0 in the system gets error message: area is missing, sold to is missing, business partner is missing.
we try to register the customer when a new potential customer(not registered in the system)has called our call center for the first time.

I assume that by "register a new customer" you mean they are trying to create a BP master records right?
What type of customer are they trying to create? are you using the consumer model? It sounds as if you are not creating sales area data for a customer and sales area data is defined as mandatory

Have you actually setup the Interaction Center?
Full customizing setup of IC Winclient or Webclient?
And are you working with CTI integration or not? using automatic Customer identification based on the customers Phone number?
Since you have even not succeeded in getting the partner identification up and running, I suppose you are still trying things on your development system....?
Anyway, for partner identification in both Web and Winclient version, you should have made customizing settings for the "Account Identification Profile". Check wether this is setup correct.
