Dear All,
Has anyone created a flexible upload task that validates as it loads on restricted subitems (or other subassignments)?
NB this is not a breakdown category requirement as we will load reported data using another upload task.
All help and advice greatly appreciated.

If not for reported data this must be for documents or additional financial data.
For documents the system follows the same validation as with reported data with respect to the breakdown categories.
Additionally, you may configure a validation for the documents and assign it as part of the document type configuration.

Thanks Dans, this is what I'm trying to do.
I've assigned a validation to the doc type but it doesn't seem to have worked - a file with records that show fail, did not.
I will keep at it and let you know how I get on.
