Hi,
We are loading master data in BW for particular info objects. The same info object we are using in BCS, we cannot see those master data in BCS which has been creted via BW. When we are creating any master data in BCS it is reflecting in BW and it means it is updating the info object.
We want load the master data once from BW and it sould reflect in BCS. Please some one help me....

Hi,
SAP recommend master data to be created from SEM-BCS & Not from BW.
If there are master data loaded directly through BW for any BCS related characteristics, the system will not show the BW loaded data under BCS.
The manual sync can be done using SEM BCS report... Pl execute the report UGMD_BATCH_SYNC
The following selection parameters should be specified while executing the report.
Appln = 10 (SEM-BCS)
Appln Area = Cons Data Basis
Sync Mode - Write only (or) Replace all BW data
Sync What = Only Master Data (or) Hierarchies
