how can i apply user authorization in the dp/snp admin workbench/right click because i dont want to let everybody create the timeseries or generate data source except certain users
is it possible? because i dont want to eliminate the tcode from users
fyi, im not common in authoization object, so pls describe me as clear as you can

Answer:
i dont have an APO system here but try to check in SU24 which objects are being checked. alternatively create a test role just with that transaction in PFCG and check which objects are available.
by the way, it might be no harm to post this issue in the *Security* as John A. Jarboe et al. usually hang around there.

Answer:
Assign planning book to User so that the user get to the default book.
APO>DP>Environment>Current Settings>Assign User to Planning Book
/sapapo/sdpplbk
You can authorize as specific book or data view
