This is a dumb question !!!
Answer:
Hi!
Ok, sorry for that stupid question.
I am new at EDM (but not at is-U), and need advice in how to allocate a profile to an interval meter; this what i think its needed:
1-create a register group and fill the field interval with e.g. 60 minutes at register level.
2-create a device categorie and a device
3.- install it in an installation
4.- allocate a profile to the register
but now i have a couple of questions:
1.- whats the difference between allocating a profile at installation level or a register level?
2.- whats happens with meter reading order creation?
thanks in advance!
kisses,
manuela
Answer:
Hello Manuela,
When you create your register group make sure you set the register category to category 4 (balancing consumption register).
Now to your questions:
There is infact no difference when you allocate the profile to the register directly or through the installation. It is only different ways to search out the actual register (logical register) to which the profile is allocated.
Regarding order creation you just run EL01 (or EL06 or EL09) as usual. The only difference is that you will only get a billing trigger (entry in table ETRG) and no meter reading documents (no entries in EABL or EABLG).
I hope this answers your question.
Best regards,
Henrik
