Question:
Often a forecasting process could be built into APO DP 1. by adding one new Characteristics (with several values), or alternatively 2. by adding several new Key Figures.
Keeping the liveCache architecture in mind, which of these two alternatives will have potentially less impact on the DP Planning View performance?
I guess that a) the data (record) volume will play its role, but probably also b) the data access speed.

Surely you cannot look at any one factor in isolation when it comes to the most important aspect of APO - sizing.
Primarily for DP it has to be the number of characteristic combinations, in association with the number of time buckets in association with the number and % of key figures to be held in liveCache.
