Hi All,
I will follow SCM210 (CIF) training in a couple of weeks, but I need before some clarification about CIF. We have for a specific kinf of transactional Data 2 differents source systems (one is a R/3, and a second one not).
Is it possible to use CIF to link APO and the non-sap system. (flat file generated from APO to the non-sap system, and vice versa ?

Hi,
CIF interface is specially designed for R3/APO integration, probably won't be easy to reuse. Also it is not based on exchanging files, it uses qRFC technology (remote functions using queues for serialization). For file exchange you might want to take a look at IDOC technology .

That the conclusion i went through. Now I've got another question related to that. For some specific transactional data, supposed that we've 2 source system on R/3, and another one. We need to synchronize batch loading in APO. Is there a possibility to trigger CIF loading based on Idoc loading?
