We have a requirement to default the PHASE in opportunity to a specific phase. There is no configuration option in SPRO for this.
Does anyone know how to default PHASE in CRM Opportunity to a specific phase?

Define your sales cycle, then define your phases. When you assign phases to sales cycle, that's where you can set the sequence (or have a default).

Sequence number is just controlling the order in which they appear in the drop down list. I already have sequence of "1" for the phase that should be the default phase.But it is just appearing on the top of the list and not as a default phase. The phase is still blank when we create a new opportunity.
For example if you checkk status management in SPRO there is a flag "Initial Status" and we can check that for that status value to appear as a default status. There is nothing like that for Phase.
Please let me know if I am missing something here.
