Could you please help me:
What for additional ODS objects uses in Data Basis? We're going to use functionality "Elimination of IU Profit/Loss in Transferred Inventory". So we need inventory data, we would like to upload it from flat file.
Well, we generate ODS objects for inventory and supplier data. But it made those objects as transactional ODS. But we can't make BW standart upload in to transactional ODS. Could you tell is it ok if I change the types of the ODSes? Will consolidation work fine? How consolidation use the ODSes?

P.S.: we are using SAP SEM 3.5, consolidation on the base of own cube copied from 0BCS_C50 (adding char. "Product Group").

Mike,
Under no cirumsatnces you are not supposed to change from transcational ODS to basic ODS.
SAP strongly recommneds to use Transcatinal ODS.
For a second think logically why SAP want to use Trans ODS, it is desgined for optimal performance and other Logic sense.
