Question:
This is the simple task I'm trying to achieve:
Distribute with reference data that would be selected through a variable.
In the standard case, the system finds an entry with the same key in the referenced data, and applies that same distribution.
I need however to force the selection of referenced data.
Here's a simplified example
a. Standard Case:
Article X in version 1 takes distribution of same Article X from version 2.
b. What I would like to do is:
Article X in version 1 takes distribution of Article Y in version 2.
I have tried setting two variables for the articles (origin and destination), but the system does not want to consider that (still takes entry with same key, or entry not found).
I've tried several alternative solutions in the meantime, but w/o any success...Any good samaritan out there?

Apparantly, the function is not picking-up the value in the BW system. You have to very, very, very closely and minutely look into each and every data. Then you will be able to resolve the issue. I am telling you this from my experience!

Well, that's precisely how I come to the conclusion that it's not feasible in a standard manner, since I'm working with a reduced set of maximum 4 entries.
I will go for a programmed solution.
