Thanks for the quick response, however do I need to create a new field control code such as a "z" to be able to assign it to the text type, which requires the time / date stamp indicator. I only have the standard delivered text determination for an opportunity, which include A. text is modified, including deletion. B. Display only. C. Reserved; Special Additional Screen Required. D. Do Not Use.

We have following options out of box for CRM 4.0 SP-10
Entire text can be modified, including deletion
C Display Only
P Reserved; Special Additional Subscreen Required
R Reserved, Do Not Use
In the determination procedure you can configure as mentioned below to have time stamp for text A002 and 0002 in the text A0008 - Log
A002 Note 1 P
0002 Internal note 2 P
A008 Log 2 R
