In SAP -Is Retail how can i account the cost of Bulk Breaking.
Ex. I am purchasing a Sugar Bag of 100 kg, now in Ware House i am packing it in Pcs of 1 Kg each.
How i can Account for this Cost incurred in W/H.

Hi Vivek,
There are a couple of workarounds. First, using a little bit of PP. You can setup a production order which consumes the Sugar in bulk bags and produces Sugar in 1 KG bags. You can do costing on this and settle it to the finished product to get accurate costs. This will handle both the stock movement and also cost calculation.
Alternatively, you can have an additional surcharge condition type (Eg Packaging costs) that applies a fixed amount or % of cost to the specific products whenever the sell price (VKP0) is calculated. This is more simpler and a one-off excercise that requires almost no maintanence on day to day basis.
