Question:
Can we display a navigation attribute char in the header part of the layout? It seems that all the layout can show is its basis char. Is there a way? Please help....
Thanks a lot.
Answer:
You can select attributes of characteristics selected in lead columns (layout builder, 2nd step, tab lead columns).

Answer:
I do not believe it's possible to display navigational attributes in the header.
You can, however, place them in the lead column, to the right of the characteristic they are associated with if your layout has the "key figures in columns" value selected. To do this:
1. go into the layout in change mode
2. ensure the radio button "Key Figures in Data Columns" under "Layout Category" is selected
3. Make sure the characteristic you want to display the attributes for is in the lead column
4. Press the continue button
5. Choose the lead columns tab
6. On the far right (after Char, Position, & Display) there is a column called "Attr."
7. Press the button to the right of the characteristic you want to display the attributes for.
8. In the popup window, place a check next to the attributes you would like to see.
Hope this helps,
Robert
