Dear all,
How do we maintain the characteristic relationship in planning area for a customized characteristic? I went to the Characteristic Rel tab page (in planning area), chose the "Attribute" Type, and activated "Combination Check and Proposal". But, I couldn't find my customized characteristic and its attribute in the "Basic Char." & "Attribute" selection. Any idea why and how to solve this? Please help....

Have you made sure that both characteristics (the basic char. and the attribute) are in the cube?

Yes now it's working fine.....thanks a lot =)
I thought we just have to tick the navigation attribute in the cube without physically including it in the cube. That's how it works in BW and reporting.

sunny123, if a navigational attribute is enough for you, maybe you don't need a char. relationship, nav. attributes work perfectly with BPS...
