Inbound Queue configuration

Question: HI,
We are implementing APO and BW in General Motors. So, we also use CIF. SAP has recommeded to change from outbound queue to inbound queue configuration, just to ensure that the APO will not be overloaded.
I just could find some SAP documentation and the only points were to configure using the transaction CFC1 in R/3 and SMQR in APO. Making some tests, I could not see the CIF* queues running on SMQ1/SMQ2 in both systems. But, i simulated an error and the SMQ2 in APO has become blocked.
Please, could anybody tell me if these configurations are correct and if they are enough? I also would like to know what is the behavior when an integration model is being activated (data transfer between R/3 and APO) regarding to the SMQ1/SMQ2 in both systems.
Thanks.

Answer:
Hi,
here is our issue with CiF, any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.

we have a scenaio where CTM run takes about 7 hours and is run every night and the queques are locked before a CTm run, but moving ahead we plan to have 24/7 operations so incase of a sales order we are able to create orders but are unable to craete deliveries for thsese orders due to CiF locking issue, is there a way to work around this.

Regards,
Jaggs
