Question:
Hello,
We have a system move from one place to another, in which the whole system is copied from one to another.
While transferring data from one planning area (info cube) to another planning area, I am getting an error as No valid storage buckets profile exists. But when the planning area and the storage bucket profile is checked we have the same storage buckets (same periodicities) in both the planning areas.
Pls let me know as why is this happening and the relevant correction procedure
Rgds,
Mani
Answer:
try running /SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK for the planning areas in question.
BTW, your storage buckets dont have to be exactly the same for copying they need to have a common factor though-The system takes into account only those periodicities that are common to both planning areas
as time based disaggregation happens based on your setting
hope this helps.
Answer:
Harish,
Thanks for the reply.
Also I would like to know that when we copy planning areas from one system to another, Will the system copy the planning area as Active or Inactive. I mean do the time series objects also gets copied or do we have to create it manually?.
Regards,
Mani
Answer:
that depends on how you plan to copy the planning areas- what method are you using?
if you are talking of a system copy you might need to ensure the planning areas are activated and data copied after that.
Answer:
Harish,
The planning area is active in the destination system.
I am getting the error as No Valid Storage bucket profile exists, but the planning is active and ofcourse Storage bucket profile is mandatory for the creation of planning area.
We are using Fiscal year variant with the posting period as the periodicity
