Is there any place to find info on how to use MRP in R/3 retail for purchasing articles based on consumption values from goods issues to stores??
Also if i change the period indicator all my consumption values are deleted, how can i refill those values for the new period indicator.

In Retail the consumption based planning methods are used. You can choose time phased planning, reorder point planning or (not so common in Retail) forecast based planning. It is 98% standard MM functionality. In my opinion, the standard online documentation is sufficient for studying about these topics.
Do you have a special question or just generic interest?
About the consumption values: The key of the consumption values table MVER is the period indicator (M/W...) so if you change the period indicator in the article master, the display is emty, but the old consumption table record is still there.
I am not sure if there is a standard method to do this differently, but you could at least convert the old MVER values of the article into the new MVER record with your own logic in a customer report. That's just one idea that comes to my head directly.

I reread your question. What do you mean in this context with stores. Do you want to do normal requirements planning for stores or are you talking about documentation about the store replenishment which is a consumption base planning method for retail stores??? That in fact is a specific retail method.

In fact i refer to 2 different processes
1.- Replenishing my warehose from vendors
2.- And repleshing stores from each of there consumption values.

It is probably better to update the consumption values with direct input since no screen logic is processed. This will lead to better performance for the expected mass data. At least that's what SAP recommends for migrating consumption values.
Look at Note 200547 for a direct input for consumption values.
For the store replenishment (as you stated correctly you have to distinguish that from the replenishment run for the DC) since it is a simpler / more performant version.
There are quite a few different alternatives:
- Using Forecasts
- Dynamic Target stock
- Using ATP
- Using a reduced IM as a base for replenishment
- Consider Reorder point
- Maintenance or article master data on replenishment group level
- Creation of different follow on documents based on the store order
Also there are quite a few new changes in SAP Enterprise such as
- Alternative source of consumption values (from BW Sales Statistics)
- Multistep Replenishment (doesn't seem so useful for me though)
I think the best is, to study the online documentation to get a basic understanding of the functionality. Otherwise you can of course get back to this forum if you have further questions. I hope I'll be able to help out then.
(Of course you can also use standard requirements planning functions for your stores (time phased...))
