Question:
I am having some difficulty getting distributions / allocations to work.
Actual costs at the cost center level need to be distributed to the programs
to which they relate. I have created an additional key figure in my BPS cube " Prog Distrib" and created manual layouts to enter the distribution percentages.
I have attempted to run a distrib using reference data. eg: Distribute the key figure amount $350 (that is not assigned to a program) using the key figure Prog Distrib, however I have been unable to get this to work.
I have however managed to get the distribution to work using a simple distribution using keys.
Cost center Program Prog Distrib AUD
11818 1 0.2500
2 0.2000
3 0.3500
4 0.2000
Not assigned 350.00
I have selected the characteristic Program as field to be changed and the key figure Prog Distrib as the ref data.
Can anyone provide any help on my issue.

The table in the above post is not clear.
I have $350 dollars assigned to cost center 11818 / Program #
I have the following amouts against the key figure % Allocation
Program 1 0.2
Program 2 0.3
Program 3 0.4
Program 4 0.1
I would like to use the above percentages as a reference to allocate the $350 that are currently allocated to cost center 11818 and Program #.
