hi there,
i am trying to use ALE to create idocs for my customised tables.
but it needs the message type for the outbound and inbound programms
since, mine are custom tables, i need to create a message type for the idocs.
can somebody helpme?
i cant figure out how to create custom message types and associate the process code to it.
Am i following the right path??
please help.

Hi,
useful transactions for your problem:
Check them in this order:
bd51 - declare function module for idoc
we81 - create logical message type
we82 - assign message type to idoc type
we57 - assign function module to logical message type
we42 - create Inbound process code
