During creation of connection object, the system allows the user to enter values in field city, district, and street which are not maintained in the master file. How do I make sure that all their entries have been maintain. Is there a way to issue an error message so users are unable to save?
Answer:
First of all, in customizing for Utilities at the level of connection object, you can define the field selection for address data (at least from version 4.63) and the field selection for the connection object it self (at least from version 4.72).
You can also try user exits EXIT_SAPLES55_002 and EXIT_SAPLES55_003 when the customizing possibilities do not suffice.
