Hi all,
What is the best way to start filling my week up with PP/DS orders that start at the beginning of Monday and continue filling up Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. ? I can get it starting at the end of the week and working towards Monday but not the other way around without manual intervention.
I am using the std lots heuristic and have looked at period factors but these influence the end of an order and not the start of the order. Also, when I run the std lots heuristic a backwards strategy always gets used even if I define a forwards one so I am assuming that it is coded to do so.
Using the sequencing options I will be able to create all orders on the last day of the previous week and then sequence into the following week but the first order of this sequence would be wrong.
Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Mark,
one possibility could be to use the Desired Scheduling Date in the Strategy Profile ("earliest date") with forward planning direction (only possible).
To plan an order on a 'specific' workday, use e.g. period lot sizing with a time stream that allows receipts only for example on Mondays.
