Hi APO Gurus,
I am facing problem which seems to be unique. Whenver I create an info cube and try to create an info package to upload data from a CSV file, the info cube which I created doesn't appear in the "Data Target" screen while creating the Info Package, hence I am not able upload data into the info cube.
I have created all the required things like, Info objects with chars & key figures, source system, info source, communication structure, transfer rules, update transfer rules etc. I have referred the problem to APO experts I know, but they also could not find out the reason. One thing is sure, nothing is missing in the process, all the required objects are available.
I hope one of you would have faced the same problem, if you know the solution, do reply.

Check if your update rules for the cube are activated (or even exist). If the update rules are inactive or not created, then the cube will not show up in the IP.
You can see if your design is complete by right mouse clicking the cube and choosing the option 'Show data flow'. This should show the logical flow diagram, and include all the pieces that are active, from the source system to the data target.

My guess is u are facing this probem as you have created the InfCube in APO instead of BW. When u create an InfoCube the system asks you an option of creating the InfoCube in BW or APO. APO InfoCubes are used for the internal purposes and are not visible in infopackage. Create a new infocube in the BW and it will be visible in the infopackage.

Hi,
I had the same problem which i solved after creating the infocube using BW (instead of APO option) . As mentioned by guest, create the infocube using BW option and also create update rules in Data Targets for your infocube....These two steps should solve your problem.
