Answer:
You're getting this error in the Client Console right?

The MTS should be in the Communication Station. Check the MTS definitions (you probably already did this), in the Component Services.
In the Middleware folder of the Start Menu, you can test the adapter connection between CommStation and CRM. You get an "all ok" here?

Does your mobile client belong to the same domain as the CommStation?
In the test adapter, there are two stages.
- Connection to CommStation
- Connection to CRM from CommStation.

The error is in the first stage?

Answer:
You can also post your registry entry here for that key.
In my MDW I have the following entries:

Default REG_SZ (value not set)
Home REG_SZ C:\DOCUME~1\joasousa\LOCALS~1\Temp
tabledump REG_DWORD 0x0000000(0)
trace REG_DWORD 0x0000000(0)

Thanks a lot...

As per your mail, we checked the domain of comm station and client and they were in different domains. Now we have created a single domain for both commstation and client.still then adapter connection is failed.

How to check MTS definition in component services..By running Regedit we found MTS..but what to check?

Where in the start menu we can check middleware folder for adapter connection?

Kindly throw some more light on it.
We are novices in CRM mobile sales. So kindly help us..

Because of this error I asked you to check to registry entries and compare them to mine. I'm not sure if the error referes to the CommStation or the Client. Mine refered to the client, because I currently don't have access to the CommStation. I installed it, but...

In the CommStation there should be a "Middleware" entry in the Start menu, with a single entry. That is the adapter test for the commstation.

If you followed the installation guide for de Comm Station there were some steps on which you had to mess with the MTS. Check the authorizations section on the guide.

The two hosts don't have to be on the same domain, but in this case you just have to give sobre extra permissions in both client and CommStation.

Thanks again..

For the last 6 days we are stuck up with mobile client installation and we are not able to fix the problem.Whatever we are doing adapter connection is failed.Central Tracing is also thowing some error, conntrans is throwing error.

Could you send some installation document for mobile client, that would help in installing CRM 4.0 mobile client.

Like any step by step guide..

Answer:
I'm but the only guides I have are the ones downloaded from service.sap.com. I have my home-made installation guide but it is in portuguese, and not even complete, as I was only overseeing things last time and had to leave early for a soccer match .

Have you tried installing in more than one PC? One time I had problems with conntrans and had to delete registry entries one by one. Did you install with administrator privileges? For example, my account seemed to be administrator, I could install everything, but registry editing was off.

Also don't try installing the comm station via Windows Terminal Service. I had all sort of problems.

But first you must eliminate possible sources of the problem. Make sure the installation of the CommStation is OK first. Only if all comunication tests are sucessfull you should start worrying about the client.

Have you checked that middleware test I told you about?
