Question:
Hi all APO experts,
my company is considering APO to replace current customized forecasting transactions for SAP R/3. Is any of the sub modules for APO of the following?
1. Enter forecasting values for a material by using partner function in customer master. This partner function can be a Salesman, coordinator etc.
2. Consolidate total forecast values for a material by different salesman and update into material master forecast view.
For example: Material A / Forecast month : Feb 2005
Salesman A : 5pcs
Salesman B : 8pcs
Salesman C : 7pcs
Total forecast value to be updated into material master => 20pcs
This seems to me a very customised process. Just wondering if there is any alternative that APO can be deployed for this function.

Hi,
You can use partner function (Sale Rep for example) as one of the planning levels. SAP APO does forecasting at different planning levels in Demand Planning Module. You can use Sales Org+Partner function (Sales Rep)+Material.
