dear all:
We installed BCS 3.2 but is crashes on execution, i searched all of OSS but of no avail. We also tried to import some notes using snote, but it simply doesnt work. By now we know that if we try to create a new databasis it will crash.
Can somebody please help with it.

I am sharing my personal experience, as I have just finished my first BW based BSC implementation in US, I am not saying this is the only solution this can be one of the solution as I have experienced similar ABAP dumps even while opening the Databasis.

Nope, it(GUI) does have everything to do with BCS and as a matter of fact there is a patch in SEM 3.5, which you have to install to get BCS to change the data basis or for that matter work with it.If you apply the patch and activate the content(using UC_content)) you can get into the BCS workbench, otherwise it is a dump dump dump with the dreaded ITAB_duplicate_key.
Please also install the latest GUI patch.

I am on 3.2 and experiencing exactly the same problem. Have requested basis put on the most up to date patch level which is 14 (currently on 11). Do you have the OSS note for the problem if patch 14 does not solve the problem - looked on OSS and cannot see any recent notes on the ITAB_dup_key - otherwise am going to log a note..........

I guess the latest patches -by that you mean BASIS, ABA, BW, FB, SEM are all up to date is what you are saying. As for FINB and SEM, I guess it just doesnt matter since some of these fixes are on customer request and the worst thing is you have to go on a hunt basis.
Like the Navigation Fix is(722121), I figure might not be in your latest/greatest. Please import that so that you can get to create DB, create CA and check, modify BW connetivity. I can send you the screen shot of notes that I played with before I am at current level, if you care(lazy to type).
I am not surprised that you have to import several before you can get it to work, which is other than your latest and greatest.

The problem looks like version of the patches. Try to get the at least the following levels:
Add-on/PCS ID Release Patch Level

I guess my experience has been different, and it is not just patches as you named and I guess we have to do more homework before we can get it to work. There are lots of things u would before u can get to a point where u change or display data basis and it wont crash.
Also please note that the PI Basis that you mention is not correct because we are talking about SEM BCS BW and not R3 BCS. So, in this case we will have PI Basis with 620 Kernel and not 470 as you mention.

PI is usually for the R/3 plug ins. Metin's R/3 is 4.7 rather than 4.6...
