Hi ,
Can anyone tell whether is it possible to append a segment to the Idoc data record during the processing of the Idoc.
Basically the scenario is that the reference data segment E1EDK02 in ORDERS05 needs to be populated only if the customer has a contract . So the inbound Idoc will not have this segment .
So during inbound processing of this Idoc via process code ORDE , the check for contract needs to be done and E1EDK02 needs to be populated accordingly..

There is a user exit that you can use to add to the incoming information.
I can't remember which one but you can find the Modification in CMOD -
Search on *orders* ...
