I've a difficult situation. I'm looking for a user exit which populates Profit Cost Center into the IDOC. In the usual process, the system determines this field and populates it into the IDOC. But i've a situation where i need to over write this value with the value coming in a text file in my case. So, I'm looking for appropriate user exit which does this populating of Profit Cost Center (field prctr) Table COBL - field PRCTR.
Any help finding the user exit is appreciated.
The message type used here for the IDOC is FIDCC2 and it is an Inbound process...

Have you looked at substitution? Further, you may refer to the enhancement F050S005 to change fields in ACC structures for inbound Idocs type FIDCCP01 or FIDCCP02.

As Manoj asked you shouldlook into substitution. This works for any type or journal entry, from manual to EDI without any issues. Also the enhancement referred by him is used in some special cases.
