Hello everyone,
Could someone tell me how to execute planning functions automatically upon opening a planning folder or upon opening individual layouts in folder. I am using SEM 3.1.

Answer:
Tcode- UPSPM Frm Planning Folder
When u create Planning folder on right side there is a option
Global planning function
If u insert ur planning function in to these u r all set.
Just hit clock to execute Planning folder and that in turn will execute ur planning function u created/developed

I am using IDES SEM 3.1. I went to Planning Folders screen. But i don't find the Global Planning Functions option. I don't know if this option exists in IDES SEM version 3.1 or not. Anyway Thanks for your reply. Atleast i got an idea. Also when you say insert planning function(s) into "Global Planning Functions", will this insert option be mentioned in within GPF.

Frm 3.1 u have these option .
once u say create planing folder u have on left screen ur planning area/level/functions and on right side u have option of global planing functions.
its just a matter of drag and drop from left screen to right screen.
