Hi Everyone,
I created some custom Item Categories and they show up as selectable on the Opportunity document, but I am still receiving and error message that says: "The item category 'Z001' is not permitted for product 'TEST'.
It appears that I also have to link the custom Item Categories to my Products somehow. Where can I do that?

do you have a product called 'TEST'? if not, there may be your problem. You still need to set up the system just as you would in R/3

Yes, I do have a product called TEST and I can also select all relevant information (Product Category, Product, Quantity, UoM, Price and Item Category) on the Product screen. I mean the system offers me the selected Item Category, but then it complains with the error message shown above. Is there a table or transaction to assign Products to Item Categories?
