Inbound IDOCs in 470: very slow!!

Question: Hi,
since the upgrade to 4.7 the inbound idocs are processed very slow.
I've tried to apply secondary indexes to IDOCREL table but no results.
An ORDERS that was processed in aprox. 15 seconds in 46B is now processed in about 2 minutes!!!!
No clue on how to speed them up. Any hint?

Thanks,
Lorenzo

It could be that someone checked the option that all idocs are to be processed synchrone (so no parallel processing). Another solution could be to archive your existing idocs. To many idocs in the edi tables is the most commom problem for causing performance issues.

Cheers Dennis.

Answer:
I couldn't find the option to "process all the IDOCs syncronously"... Do you know where it is?
I have only found this option in transaction OYEA related to IDOCs from files, but all my IDOCS are sent through rfc.....

Yes that is the transaction I reffered to and yes it does not work if you use RFC. To improve performance archive you existing idocs (e.g. more then 3 months old).

Cheers Dennis.
